Cryptocurrency Fraud Tracing
in Tennessee.

Blockchain transactions are permanently recorded and traceable. Watchtower follows them toward the exchanges and identities behind a scheme — and is honest about what recovery actually requires.

Traceable is not the same as recoverable.

That distinction matters more than anything else on this page, because the recovery industry surrounding crypto fraud is itself full of fraud. Victims are routinely targeted a second time by firms promising guaranteed recovery for an upfront fee. There is no such thing, and any firm promising it is running the second scam.

What is genuinely true is that most blockchain transactions are permanently and publicly recorded. Funds can be followed through wallets and mixing attempts to the point where they reach a service that applies identity verification. That point is where an identity may exist behind an address.

What happens next is legal rather than investigative. An exchange will not disclose customer identity to a private investigator. Disclosure requires legal process — law enforcement, or a court order obtained by your attorney. Tracing produces the target; the legal system produces the identity and any recovery.

Scheme types we trace

The common patterns affecting Tennessee victims.

Investment platforms showing growing balances that cannot be withdrawn

Romance-based schemes that progressed to investment requests

Fraudulent trading or mining operations

Impersonation of a company, executive or agency to induce transfer

Business email compromise resulting in a crypto payment

So-called recovery services demanding payment after an initial loss

How It Works

How tracing runs

01

Transaction Capture

We document every transaction, address, platform and communication involved, since the record is the foundation.

02

Chain Tracing

Funds followed across the blockchain through transfers and mixing attempts toward identifiable endpoints.

03

Endpoint Identification

Where funds reach an exchange or regulated service, that endpoint is identified and documented.

04

Referral Package

A documented tracing report for law enforcement, IC3 and your attorney, since they hold the routes to disclosure.

How we approach this honestly

No recovery promises

We do not guarantee recovery, and no legitimate firm does. We will tell you plainly what tracing can and cannot achieve.

Second-scam warning

If someone contacted you promising recovery for an upfront fee, that is almost certainly a further fraud.

Built for referral

The report is structured for law enforcement and counsel, because they hold the legal routes that tracing alone cannot reach.

Honest triage

Where the amount does not justify the cost of tracing, we will say so rather than taking the engagement.

Common Questions

Crypto fraud tracing, answered.

We cannot promise that, and anyone who does is not being straight with you. Tracing establishes where funds went and identifies endpoints. Recovery requires legal process through law enforcement or a court order, depends on whether funds remain at an identifiable service, and frequently does not succeed. That is the honest position.

Almost certainly not. Unsolicited recovery offers following a crypto loss are overwhelmingly a second fraud targeting the same victim, and demanding an upfront fee is the defining signature. Report it and do not pay. Victim lists circulate among fraudsters.

Often not, and we will tell you. Tracing takes skilled time and costs accordingly. Where the loss is modest, the better route is usually reporting to IC3 and local law enforcement, which costs nothing, rather than spending further money chasing it.

Preserve everything — wallet addresses, transaction hashes, all communications, platform screenshots and account details — before anything is deleted. Report to IC3 and to local law enforcement. Do not pay anyone promising recovery. Then, if the amount warrants it, tracing is worth discussing.

Honest tracing, honest expectations.

Preserve the transaction record and report it first. Then call and we will tell you frankly whether tracing is worthwhile.
